- Huge mistake for McCain. This will effectively be the end of his campaign. If you can't walk and chew gum, maybe the Presidency isn't for you. As for Palin, she will go down in history as an adjective/adverb for future political campaigns.

- As an Independent, I see this election going down the same road as the past few general elections. GOP talking about anything but the issues, slinging dirt and repeating it and the DEMS constantly fighting off attacks.
